Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information RezzyCheck collects, how it is used, when it may be disclosed, and the choices available to candidates, clients, website visitors, and subscribers.

Effective August 7, 2026 RezzyCheck LLC Orange County, California
The short version RezzyCheck does not sell personal information. Information is used to provide recruiting and career-support services, operate the website, communicate with you, and run the business. Candidate information is shared with a prospective employer only with the candidate's authorization or direction.

RezzyCheck LLC respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy applies when you visit rezzycheck.com, contact RezzyCheck, subscribe to emails, schedule a meeting, purchase or receive a service, participate in recruiting, or otherwise interact with RezzyCheck.

Scope of this policy

This policy covers personal information RezzyCheck receives online and offline in connection with its website, recruiting, candidate screening, resume review, interview preparation, career coaching, email communications, and related services.

This policy does not govern the independent privacy practices of employers, job boards, social-media platforms, payment processors, scheduling platforms, or other third-party websites and services. Their privacy policies apply to information they collect for their own purposes.

By using the website or services, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy and the RezzyCheck Terms of Use.

Sources of information

RezzyCheck may collect personal information from:

  • You directly, including through emails, calls, forms, bookings, purchases, resumes, questionnaires, and service sessions.
  • Employers, candidates, clients, and referrals, when they provide information related to an authorized introduction, search, hiring process, or business relationship.
  • Public and professional sources, such as LinkedIn, firm websites, professional-license databases, job boards, and information you make publicly available.
  • Website technologies and service providers, including hosting, forms, scheduling, email, analytics, payment, security, and embedded-content tools.

If you provide information about another person, you represent that you have authority to provide it for the relevant purpose and will direct that person to this policy when appropriate.

How information is used

RezzyCheck may use personal information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and communicate with candidates, clients, subscribers, and website visitors.
  • Provide recruiting, candidate screening, resume, interview, coaching, and related services.
  • Evaluate potential candidate and employer alignment and coordinate authorized introductions, interviews, offers, and follow-up.
  • Schedule appointments, process transactions, send invoices, and maintain business records.
  • Deliver requested resources, service communications, and marketing emails.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and services.
  • Understand website and email engagement and measure the effectiveness of content and outreach.
  • Prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, and other harmful or unlawful activity.
  • Comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, protect rights, and establish or defend legal claims.

RezzyCheck may use business-productivity and AI-assisted tools to help organize, draft, summarize, or analyze information. Human review remains part of RezzyCheck's process, and RezzyCheck does not use an automated system to make final hiring decisions on behalf of an employer.

With advance notice and any consent required by law, RezzyCheck may use AI-assisted note-taking or transcription tools, including Granola, to transcribe calls and generate notes, summaries, and action items. These tools may temporarily process call audio to create a transcript. RezzyCheck may retain the resulting transcript, summary, and notes to provide services, coordinate recruiting activities, document communications, and maintain business records. RezzyCheck does not currently use its transcription tool to retain the underlying call audio after transcription.

Recruiting and career-support information

RezzyCheck may review candidate information to understand experience, technical depth, career goals, motivation, compensation expectations, location preferences, availability, and potential fit for a role or employer.

RezzyCheck will not submit a candidate's resume or identifying candidate profile to a prospective employer without the candidate's authorization, direction, or agreed right-to-represent confirmation. Once information has been provided to an authorized employer, that employer's privacy and record-retention practices also apply, and RezzyCheck cannot require the employer to return or delete information already received.

Employers may provide job requirements, compensation information, interview feedback, and other recruiting information. RezzyCheck may share relevant portions with candidates when reasonably necessary to support the hiring process, while protecting confidential information where appropriate.

Resume and coaching materials may contain information supplied by you. You are responsible for reviewing the accuracy and appropriateness of final materials before using or submitting them.

Cookies, analytics, and embedded services

RezzyCheck and its service providers may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the website, remember settings, understand usage, measure email or website engagement, protect security, and support embedded features.

These technologies may support:

  • Essential functions, such as security, forms, scheduling, and page operation.
  • Analytics, such as understanding traffic, referring pages, and how visitors use the website.
  • Email measurement, such as whether a message was delivered, opened, or clicked.
  • Embedded content, such as scheduling widgets, forms, reviews, maps, videos, and social-media features.

Depending on the page and your interaction, service providers may include HubSpot for forms and customer-relationship management, TidyCal for scheduling, Kit for email communications, Google for analytics, reviews, maps, or video content, as well as website hosting, security, payment, and other business-service providers.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies or scripts may prevent forms, scheduling tools, videos, or other website features from working correctly.

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no uniform industry standard for that signal, the website does not currently respond to it. RezzyCheck will honor legally required opt-out preference signals where applicable. Third-party analytics and embedded-service providers may collect information about online activity over time and across different websites or services, subject to their own privacy practices and your available controls.

How information may be disclosed

RezzyCheck may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:

  • Prospective employers and recruiting participants, when a candidate authorizes an introduction or submission, or when disclosure is otherwise reasonably necessary for an agreed recruiting process.
  • Service providers, that support hosting, security, forms, customer-relationship management, scheduling, email, payments, invoicing, accounting, analytics, file storage, communications, document preparation, business productivity, and related operations.
  • Professional advisors, such as attorneys, accountants, insurers, and consultants when reasonably necessary for business or legal purposes.
  • Government authorities or other parties, when required by law, legal process, or a valid request, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent fraud or unlawful activity.
  • A successor or transaction participant, in connection with a potential or completed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to appropriate protections.
  • Other recipients at your direction or with your consent.

Service providers process information to perform services for RezzyCheck or under their own published terms, depending on the service and how you interact with it.

Sale of information and targeted advertising

RezzyCheck does not sell personal information for money. RezzyCheck also does not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, sometimes called targeted advertising based on activity across unrelated websites or services.

Disclosures described in this policy, including disclosures to service providers and candidate-authorized submissions to employers, are made to operate the business or provide requested services and are not treated by RezzyCheck as sales of personal information.

Email and communication choices

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the message or contacting info@rezzycheck.com.

After you opt out of marketing, RezzyCheck may still send non-marketing communications reasonably related to an active service, recruiting process, transaction, legal notice, or direct request from you.

How long information is retained

RezzyCheck retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing services, maintaining candidate and client relationships, keeping appropriate business and transaction records, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and complying with legal, tax, accounting, insurance, and professional obligations.

Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the nature and length of the relationship, whether a candidate remains interested in future opportunities, legal or contractual requirements, and the need to establish or defend claims. When information is no longer reasonably needed, RezzyCheck may delete, deidentify, or securely dispose of it. Residual copies may remain temporarily in backups or service-provider systems.

Your privacy choices and requests

Depending on applicable law and your relationship with RezzyCheck, you may have the right to ask RezzyCheck to:

  • Confirm whether RezzyCheck maintains personal information about you.
  • Provide access to or a copy of certain personal information.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Delete certain information.
  • Stop marketing communications.
  • Withdraw permission for future candidate submissions or other consent-based uses.

Submit a request by emailing info@rezzycheck.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." Describe your request and the email address or other information needed to locate your records. RezzyCheck may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but RezzyCheck may require proof of authorization and may also verify the request directly with you.

Some information may be retained or a request may be limited when reasonably necessary to complete a transaction, provide a requested service, comply with law, preserve business or tax records, protect security, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, or establish or defend legal claims. RezzyCheck will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

Information security

RezzyCheck uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information based on the nature of the information and the size and needs of the business. RezzyCheck also uses established service providers to support website, communication, scheduling, payment, and business operations.

No website, email, cloud service, storage system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please use care when deciding what information to send by email or through a website form, and contact RezzyCheck if you believe information may have been accessed or used without authorization.

Children's privacy

The website and services are not directed to children under 13, and RezzyCheck does not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If RezzyCheck learns that such information was collected, it will take reasonable steps to delete it.

A parent or legal guardian should arrange and consent to any paid service for a person under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided personal information may contact RezzyCheck using the information below.

Third-party links and United States processing

The website may contain links to or features from third-party websites and services. RezzyCheck does not control their privacy, security, or content. Review their privacy policies before providing information directly to them.

RezzyCheck is based in the United States. Information may be processed or stored in the United States and in other locations where RezzyCheck's service providers operate, subject to applicable law and the providers' safeguards.

Changes to this policy

RezzyCheck may update this Privacy Policy as services, technologies, vendors, or legal requirements change. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

If a change is material, RezzyCheck may provide additional notice through the website, by email, or through another reasonable method. The practices described in an updated policy apply prospectively from its effective date unless applicable law requires otherwise.
